What’s in a name?
Our vision is to deliver genuine hospitality and top-notch food and beverages to the local community. That’s why we named our venue after someone with a deep connection to the area: Henry Manning. And no, that’s not Henry on the right—it’s his brother Charles. Henry never actually made it to what was then known as the Swan River Colony (and we couldn't find a photo of him either), and we think he missed out!
Anyway, we hope that Henry M's (yes, we often shorten it to just Henry's) is a place both Henry and Charles would have enjoyed. More importantly, we hope it becomes a place you’ll love to visit!

With over 20 years of experience and a career that has taken him to kitchens around the globe, Head Chef Matt Novak brings a world of flavors to our small local wine bar.
Drawing inspiration from his travels and a deep appreciation for local produce, Matt has a unique ability to reinvent classic dishes with a modern twist. His philosophy is simple: let the quality of the ingredients shine.
"I've had the privilege of working with incredible ingredients from all over the world, but there's something special about the produce we have here. Whether it's heirloom tomatoes picked at their peak or fresh seafood straight from the coast, my goal is to highlight and showcase these elements in every dish I create."
